Muse rocks, Just started downloading a few things from them to get a feel for what type of music they play. Good band looking forward to get the CD.

How long ago did they turn independant? Or has 'The Edge' always been that way?

106.3, 100.3 The Edge was shut down a few years ago, format changed to some mexican garbage music. Somehow the former employees got it running again. That being said, if you like the Edge you will love Sirius 21 Alt Nation. The Edge with no commercials.

yeah, Sirius and XM definitely are the future. The Edge is fighting the same cause 'tho. They're not corporate. They're small business, independent radio, going up against the giant beast of clear channel.

I've never been a fan of the music on the edge, but I love what they stand for! :thumbup:

KUKQ=Edge.

It is a great station...but is essentially KUKQ which was an AM alt rock station. Robin Nash was one of the big DJs for KUKQ.

The Edge is great for those of us without satellite radio.

Of course I am more of an AM geek than an FM listener.
