Former Xavier Musketeers guard Kam Craft plans to enter the transfer portal after one season with the Miami University RedHawks, according to a report Tuesday from On3sports' Joe Tipton.

Tipton added that Craft will keep the option open to return to MU.

Craft started all 34 games in which he played this past season for the RedHawks, averaging 13.6 points and 3.0 rebounds per game while making 43.1 percent from 3-point range. He had 40 points on 13-of-22 from the field in Miami's 92-80 win against Toledo in February.

Earlier this week, Miami athletic director David Sayler tweeted that the RedHawks deserved an NIT bid over Kent State, which lost three times to MU.

Craft joined the RedHawks in April 2024.

As a freshman at XU during the 2022-23 season, Craft averaged 2.6 points and 1.5 rebounds per game in 15 games. He did not play during the 2023-24 season. Craft committed to the Musketeers in 2021, when current RedHawks head coach Travis Steele was Xavier's head coach.

Craft starred at Buffalo Grove High School in Illinois.
