Keim nailed 1 and 2, who do we take in the 3rd (97th pick)?

They are going to stay put.

Cardinals draft center Mason Cole.

Total admission IMO that Boehm is a bust. Thoughts?

Cole is very versatile, but also very limited. He’ll make the team as a spare part, but he’ll never be a starter unless last year’s injuries recur. If he starts the Cards are in big trouble. This was not a horrible pick but better players were available. I give this pick a “D”.

I agree... not only is there some very good WR's still on the board...like St. Brown... but Scott Quessenberry is a better center and he is still on the board.

considering the first two picks I am willing to let a third round brain fart slide though

I am wondering if Cards are considering trying Cole at RT.He played LT and Center at Michigan so has some experience outside.Just thinking out loud.

or prepping him to replace iupati in a year or so at LG?? The kid is versatile... but if they have a choice it would be better to keep him on the left since he has never played the right...unless the switch is going to be permanent.... but IMO they got him to be a center...we have been light in the ass at center for years and with some coaching and strength training this kid could be pretty good.

Cole was the best interior lineman remaining. He'll see a lot of time, and won't be a "D".

Humphries, Smith, Wetzel, and Holden are here as OT's, Iupati, Pugh, Cole, Shipley, Boehm, Munyer, and probably five more will join the
team before OTA's in the interior line. We'll be okay. Could've drafted one higher, at the expense of Rosen. No thanks.
