How do I double like a post.

On a serious note, why should he be frowned if Cardinals have David Johnson to run the ball and Rosen as QB?

Unless he's got a HOF QB, The System Doesn't work.

It's WhisenPunt otherwise.

I wasn't a big fan of Whiz. Compared to Wilks it would be a massive upgrade and maybe he will have learned some things from past mistakes.

Thank you for making my point. Its like Whiz had a plan compared to these fake leaders of men.
No, I remember. But I also remember what it was like seeing a team with a game plan. That is the bar that has been set in 2018.

I think Whiz would have been fine if Kolb woulda been good. He knew we needed to replace Warner. His failures were Skelton and Anderson. Then he got to the Titans and fell in love with that Mettenberger or whatever his name is. Other than that Whis did just fine...great assistants.

Remember when people on this board wanted to trade a 3rd-rounder for that kid? Blech. I think that was with the Chargers, though.

I wish we had him during the Norv Turner years when the team was amazing on paper but underachieved due to coaching.

People rip Whisenhunt saying he’s trash without Warner...can someone name many QBs who failed with Whisenhunt that ended up being good elsewhere?

Guys like Kolb, Anderson and Skelton were scrubs everywhere not just with the Cardinals. Mariota is about the only other one I can think of who isn’t a complete scrub and even he hasn’t shown he’s anything special.

He needed some talent to work with at QB and never had it except for Warner.

I’d be curious in seeing how well he can

His scheme is actually pretty good and he can game plan, but he needs a good passer for things to work. Roethlisber, Warner, and Rivers excelled with Whiz while those 2 QB carousel years with Skelton/Hall/Lindsey/Kolb/Anderson were a huge blunder. But each of them was terrible. I also doubt Wilks could beat the Saints with mighty Max.

Would I want Whiz, no he tried and failed at HC twice. But he is actually a very competent OC and always has been.

Whis has a complete offense with great playmakers that has been together for years. Lead by a great veteran QB. Give him a rookie QB with our OL and playmakers, and he'd look just like McCoy.

He managed a rookie QB to a Super Bowl win in Pittsburgh.

God people forget that Warner was a turnover machine, happy to get one last chance in AZ and that his ball security improved under Whiz.

I remember watching one of those pre-Whiz games against the Rams with my Rams fan buddy. Of course him being a Rams fan, he was fiercely loyal to Kurt and always insisted that he wasn't washed up, though he did look really washed up at that point.

It was the last drive of the game, Warner had the chance to drive the Cardinals down the field to win the game. I actually bet my friend $10 that Warner would fumble and blow the game. Needless to say, I won that bet.

He was already a champion and I would say throwing it to a prime Larry Fitzgerald and a prime Anquan Boldin had a little more to do with it
