Long time Phoenician!
I want to share with you that Ken Kendrick’s “Ultimate” multi-million dollar baseball card collection is on display at the Phoenix Art Museum at 1625 N. Central Ave. and will go through April 24th.
I hadn’t been to the Art Museum in decades. They say that some of his cards are more valuable than art pieces in other galleries of the museum. I visited this afternoon and was quite impressed. There are 42 of the most treasured baseball cards
Ticket prices for the museum range from $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and down for students and other children. Plus an additional $8 to see the baseball card exhibit.
If you are into the nostalgia of Major League baseball, I recommend it. It brought back memories of my 1953-54 collection of cards from the 16 Major League teams, which I kept in a cupcake box. Of course my Hank Aaron rookie card wasn’t in as mint condition as Kendrick’s.
