If Tom Gugliotta/Keon Clark deal goes through - as fans do we throw Keon into mix of players to be signed? How serious is injury?

Games played of 80, 81, 81, and 81 - previous 4 years. Blocks of 1.9, 1.5, 1.9, and 1.4 in limited minutes...

Weren't you interested in Camby? He's a year older, more chronically injured, and will most likely command a lot more money.

I also don't think Amare would be on our roster if we worried about the players parents.

Camby is also 10 times the player Clark is and bigger also.

Clark probably has a slightly better offensive game, but the difference is negligible. Marcus Camby is a significantly better rebounder. I wouldn't want the Phoenix Suns to sign Clark because he is a lazy pot smoker. Otherwise, if he was healthy, I think he would be a very nice signing for a couple million dollars.

I would argue that.

Keon Clark isn't anymore than a garbage man offensively like Bo Outlaw.

I have seen Camby several times this season. He has a very nice baseline jumper that he hits regularly, turnaround, fadeaway he can hit that shot like he did against us.

I saw this guy penetrate and go behind his back for the sweet dish or take 2 dribbles and in the paint and throw it down over the outstetched arms of 2 defenders.

I was never very high on Camby. But he has won me over this season. He plays incredible basketball this year.
He isn't the think tooth pick he was early in his career.

When he got injured in New York he had just put up like 25lbs of muscle and maybe his frame couldn't carry the weight right away and he injured himself immediately but since he came back he is a much stronger basketball player and doesn't look fragile at all.

Slin, Clark has a nice back to the basket game, and he can consistently hit the midrange jumpers. I'm not advocating that the Phoenix Suns sign him this summer or keep him if this Tom Gugliotta trade goes through but that's mostly because of his off the court demeanor.

I have allways liked Clarks game. I dont know if he can play center. But I would be excited to have him on our team.

Camby is underated IMO. He is very efficent, and if healthy he can make a HUGE difference. (worth the chance? maybe)

Keon Clark had some "good" years, but has a poor reputation off the court. Since no one on the boards seems to know whether he is projected to have a complete recovery, it is hard to even speculate.

Funny how slin has a memory that conveniently slips into amnesia after only a single year.

Hmm. He doesn't like Clark, who isn't playing this year, but was decent in years past, but loves Camby, who is having a great year, but was nearly ineffective in years past.

Currently Clark is making $5 million (which was too high). Coming off an injury year, he is unlikely to get more than about $1.5 this year. If he is recovered and his lockerroom attitude acceptable, he would be might be worth a one year gamble.
