Kasper made a couple of good plays. On 3rd and 5 facing a blitz, Blake read it and rolled out. Kasper mirrored Blake and caught a first down pass. Of course the run was good too. He must realize he is a bubble guy. The more time foster misses the better chance Kasper has to make the team.

I think that the battle is not so much between Foster and Kasper as between Kasper and McAddley and Walker, with the top 2 staying and the least of the group getting cut. Personally, I'm cheering for Kasper and Walker, because I think that Kasper can be a catalyst and occaisonal playmaker from the #4 WR spot, and I'm infatuated with Walker's size and potential.

McAddley needs to figure out where he fits in among the reciever corps, or he's going to end up on the practice squad again this season.

I believe that he was on the practice squad to begin the 2002 season, then was brought up after Boston was placed on IR. He only played in 9 games, starting 8. That timing would be right with when DB was placed on IR.

I remember last year when Gilmore was injured they sign Jake Soliday from the practice squad. But I don't remember McAddley being put in the practice squad.

AZDad:

According to the Cardinals website, you're right. They show McAddley as having "spent first seven weeks on 'inactive' list and final eight as the starter... first game action as a pro vs. St. Louis (Nov. 3) after (MarTay) Jenkins left game in first quarter with fractured scapula."

Oh, okay. He was on the 53-man roster, but not on the 45-man (game day) roster.

To me, that's the same as being on the practice squad, for the most part...
