Keyshawn never lived up to expectations (his or anyone's), but he's a pretty good WR--he doesn't drop hardly anything thrown his way.

He was so excited to have Jarrett coming to Carolina during the broadcast of the draft ... little did he know that he was coming to take his place ...

Here he is now ...

Holy crap! I never saw that coming. I actually like Keyshawn. :(

Cold blooded move by the Panthers. SMH.

Keyshawn in Oakland. Heard it here first.

Maybe the Philadelphia Eagles. Remember when ESPN was interviewing Andy Reid and Reid said they should bring in Keyshawn and all the announcers jumped in saying that was tampering. I think Reid just slipped up thinking Keyshawn was retired or something since he was helping with draft coverage.

Philly.

They paid him 3m in a roster bonus 30 days ago...I can't really feel sorry for Keyshawn.

Seems silly to cut a guy after giving him that kind of bonus.

Cold blooded? I'm sure the Panthers aren't too worked up over it since they paid him a $3M roster bonus a month ago. Don't worry about Keyshawn's family, just worry about his ego.

Watching him argue with Kiper and blast Gruden's musical chairs at QB was good television.

I'm not worried about Keyshawn, he will be playing somewhere next year. You would think that the Panthers would have enough forsight to cut him before he was due that bonus.

A Texans-esque move. Bring him to Houston.

Maybe he made a stink about Jarrett being drafted to the front office, and they finally had it with him--so maybe it wasn't planned

Realistically, I think Keyshawn will only play for someone who has a chance at going to a super bowl. Falcons, Chargers, Eagles, and Green-Bay all need a WR. Imo out of those teams, Chargers and Eagles are the only one who have a chance to land him.

I think the Falcons have a shot too.

The Chargers, or...get this...

...The Colts.

Manning doesn't have a Keyshawn type WR and they can't be thrilled with going into a season against a loaded New England team with a rookie in the slot (a very important position that makes that offense go).

30 days after that much in bonus, I don't believe they cut just because of his football skills.

I suspect we may here more about this, drugs, other issues, etc. NO source just a hunch
