It seems the concensus here is Suggs is the guy we would love to get. It seems to also be the concensus that he won't be there when we pick.
Our first option seems to be Holliday. I personally am not too excited about this.

How does KGB stack up against Suggs as far as size , speed, etc.?Would it be worth going after KGB and give up that 1st pick to the packers to get the pass rusher we need?

I agree..... I would rather trade down a get more picks if possible..........maybe you could work a draft day trade for someone with additional picks we could pick up

#'s coming out of college:

Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila, San Diego State
Defensive End, 6-4, 245

Combine Numbers
Height Weight 40 yards Vertical Long jump Bench Shuttle Cone
6-3-5/8 243 4.67 34" 10'0" 21 4.28 6.91

He is now listed at 255 lbs - so he has picked up a few lbs since entering the NFL. He was considered a pass rusher only - but due to injuries last season I think he ended up starting 12 games..

The defensive lineman from Oklahoma that Jurecki may have mentioned as the Cards being interested in (cited in someone's earlier post) probably was Kevin Williams, DT from Okla State.

One draft book projected him as moving up ****** up the charts into the top 10 (they described him as an "active" DT). Or perhaps the Cards are entertaining proposals to trade down.

Site lasted him having 5 sacks. Good burst, but no speed. A tweener. Too small for tackle, to slow for end.
