To me the weird thing is what does competition in camp do for a kicker? Is it going to make him kick better in the games? Practicing kicking more in practice? I don't get it.

They could have an 3 point kicking contest like the NBA has a 3 point shooting contest at the All-Star game. Feely versus Carpenter.

Actually regular season games is where you find out about your kickers. I like that Feely is a known commodity.

It is basically the same guy but Carpenter has a stronger leg. Not the kicker I would want.
