You got to hand it to Jason Kidd, after years of being labeled as a wife beater and having himself criticized by many columnists (including yours truly), he has now stopped talking to the media because they overheard him yelling at his teammates after a 47-point loss to Memphis Saturday night. Gee Kidd, maybe if you didn't yell so loudly and were a bit more careful, the media wouldn't have had to listen in. Word has it Kidd called a teammate out, saying "I swear if you don't shape up, I'm going to smack you like I smacked Joumana."

I wis he would never speak to the media again, and that the media would never talk to or about him again. I could watch ESPN without seeing him, his wife, and a big headed monster that sits next to her.
