THIS ONE IS FOR YOU KOC. TIM WE DID IT.
Not sure if anyone saw him fight Ray Mercer in his first MMA match. He won by rear naked choke. But Ray is an old man... Kimbo will be fighting David "Tank" Abbott in his next fight.. What do you guys think?

I have seen all of Kimbos street fights on youtube. He uses really good Boxing tecnique. His slips and ducks and counters are pretty clean. He has good fight vision, which takes time to get. I am very interested to see how he does against Tank. Now Tank in his day was one bad man, he is older and slower now and I really dont remember the last fight that he won. I would like to see Kimbo go into the UFC or Pride to see if he is a contender or pretender.

I've seen his street fights online as well, and he's impressive in those. He's one strong dude, but I think he still needs work before he can get to UFC or Pride and make some noise there. The fight with Tank should be fun, considering he likes to just brawl if I remember correctly, which suits Kimbo well.

You should watch the self defense video of Kimbo's trainer Bass Rutten...highest of comedy

I hear he has 0 stamina. He will lose to the good fighters out there who can carry it past the 1st round.

Kimbo Slice and Tank are about the same in that they gas fast, but they make it exciting. Tank is a pure brawler, Kimbo has some technique, but I would not put him in the UFC or Pride, I honestly don't think he's ready.

i like Kimbo and watch his fights on youtube - however, he's not exactly a young guy - he's got some good technique in throwing punches and can take a punch as well

he's built like a house and seems to have good leverage

stamina is an issue - i think he's in better shape than tank and should be able to win the standup portion - i think tank could take enough punishment to try to work a leg submission or something like that

it would be entertaining

anyone see the kimbo fight where the MMA guy was able to take his punches and eventually just wear him down - i think kimbo would run into that a lot in an mma career

You're talking about that cop he fought right, from Boston I think that had MMA training? I saw that fight and I agree with everybody else here, he was gassed after a few minutes, but you have to remember that was a few years ago, when he was just a street fighter with no training whatsoever.
