Hopefully this doesn't let Bidwill off the hook paying him for the next 4 years
There are offsets here, but a QB coach doesn't make near what a HC does. Maybe 20%-25% will be covered. USC pays near NFL level and I'm basing it on that.

We need the leak of that contract then. Im hoping its for 3 bucks and a new iPhone max each year.
Riley is making nearly $11 million a year and that would make him the 7th highest if that were the NFL. He's getting paid like an NFL position coach. Probably around $750k

I will not give a final verdict on Kliff because I do believe that one day he might be a very good head coach, he is just not ready now and does not have enough experience for himself to carry that job. This world rushes everything now but just because the world is impatient does not mean this failed approach casts the person in question as ultimately incapable. It will be interesting to see how he develops as a coach... and he has one hell of a financial safety net to hone his coaching skills lol

I would never say this franchise failed Kliff or Kyler, but it sure didn't do either any favors.
Kyler landing with two bottom-five franchises in Arizona and Oakland will give him a lot of excuses for never winning anything if he’s looking for them.

USC is a private school so I don’t believe it’s obligated to make salaries public. Not saying they wouldn’t or won’t but rather they are not obligated.

By the time Kliff left he looked like he’d taken a sip from the false grail. I don’t doubt his effort.

Nope, they are not, but they did with Lincoln Riley. They are known to pay like an NFL team, so I'm absolutely guessing on the numbers for KK.

While I wasn't exactly sad to see Kliff go, many things beyond his control weren't exactly conducive to the team being successful. He was in a situation where he was stuck with Vance Joseph as DC and much more importantly a GM who was in self destruction mode.

I do think Kliff was better than some coaches that were leading the Cardinals in the past.

Now he can relax, I like KK - think he worked hard and did his best under unicorn circumstances. He never gave himself an extension- not sure asked for one? But I wouldn’t say no either. Be like hell yea, hate me!
