im loving it, that the knicks lost to them 3x now.

and right now, the spurs kicked the teeth in on the Heat.

heat are overrated, they havent really handled teams with a winning % over .50

Everyone saw this coming lol..
I like that one Knicks fan refers to D'Antoni's coaching as "gimmick".

How many times did I use that word when he was here?

Amar'e is still playing Center most of the time -- the Coach reacting to that night's opposition rather than using his team's strengths. Which is Amar'e at Power Forward playing offense, then staying out of injury and foul trouble.

It is said that Isaah Thomas is still advising the Knicks decisions despite no longer being on the payroll. Uh-huh.

DA needs a distributing PG to make his system run. They are still gnashing their teeth about not knowing Deron Williams was available. Clearly the Knicks would have chosen Williams over Anthony.

Excuses.
They're still a .500 team. D'Antoni's system is a fraud. Knick fans will be calling for his head a year from now. Hey at least he got paid....

No more embarrassing than our thing with Sac Town.

I've lost my respect for Knick fans. So far they've chanted:

"Melooooo" when he was in Denver
Lebron when he was in Cleveland
Chris Paul in NO
Dwight Howard in Orlando

seriously they have Carmelo and Amare, its time to shut the ffffudge up.

The Knicks should have left Felton and Billups out of that trade. Who knows. Maybe they did try to keep Felton, but DEN insisted on sending Billups for Felton. They would be worlds better with Felton because Billups is not a D'Antoni PG. At any rate, this is funny to watch for me....

I agree. That team might get better but as of now they don't have the defensive IQ to be really good.

DA would not have been successful in Phoenix if he did not have a distributing PG like Steve Nash to run his system. This much is clear after the dust has settled. IMO, Deron Williams would fulfilled this role for DA in NY. The Knicks are hurting because they are top heavy with scorers in Amare and Carmelo at forward but there is no one there that can successfully spread the floor at PG. Giving up Felton was a major mistake because he was about as close to being that type PG DA had in NY. I hope the Nets can hang onto Williams. In retrospect, if DA wanted to keep his job in NY, the Knicks should have been offering a nice package for Nash.

Would New York fans have accepted becoming a 50-and-fade team? Yes, I guess so, following all these years of futility.

But then, they'd want to become playoff-strong. And the NBA Brass would want the Big Apple to do the same.

D'Antoni is not the man to do it in NY anymore than he was in Phoenix.

"It's not my job to develop young players."
Defense, what's that? (to paraphrase).
