Dallas gets
Tyson Chandler ($14.6 million next season, expires 2015)
Raymond Felton (4.4, player option 2016)

New York gets
Jose Calderon (7.1, 2017)
Samuel Dalembert (3.9 team option for 2014-15, but I read something about a buyout)
Shane Larkin (1.6, sophomore)
Wayne Ellington (2.5, 2015)
2014 pick #34
2014 pick #51

Poor Felton. Had he been in Dallas to begin with, that Glock 17 of his would have been just fine. Since he was in NY, he got slapped with a felony, and now he won't be able to have his Glock 17 in Texas either. Sorry, as a gun guy who cannot stand Felton, I find that very amusing.

In my opinion, Chandler probably helps Dallas, but I really don't think it makes them better enough to justify taking on Felton. Calderon isn't exactly Chris Paul either, but Felton is just beyond horrible.

Dallas has to have another PG option in mind besides Felton, who I agree is terrible. But what makes this interesting to me is that it will make Dallas's pursuit of James or Anthony more difficult. I guess they haven't been in the James conversation, but I had heard some chatter about Anthony.

I actually think the Knicks won this trade especially with the inclusion of Larkin. Maybe Phil Jackson is already making an impact.

Those second round picks could actually help the Knicks as well in a deep draft.

I read somewhere that the Knicks were looking to trade Larkin or Dalambert (a tweet I think) ...

I think the Suns should trade their 27th pick for Larkin - It makes so much sense really. My 2 favorite teams are the Mavs and Suns, so I watched Larkin a lot last year. He was GREAT defensively and honestly has some of the quickest / shiftiest feet defensively I've ever seen. His speed is perfect for the Suns offense also. The Suns have a need at backup PG and he's a better fit that the other PG's in this draft expected where the Suns are picking ...

It makes so much sense I'm really predicting the trade will happen - we'll see ...
