The Prosecutors said she went up stairs to get an autograph for her guy friend and had never heard of him... now I find that hard to buy....

Well, seeing that the defense story insinuated that the girl slept with him for attention, you would think she would have to at least know who he was before hand.

IMO, everything that comes out of both sets of attornies is at most half true. The case is over, now they want to gain some sort of PR for the girl before the civil trial starts.

A part of me wants Kobe to just settle right now and have her sign some sort of agreement where her and her lawyers shut their traps. The other part wants Kobe go at this thing head on. In the civil case we have a much better chance of finding out what actually did happen then we would of in the criminal trial. Of course, I don't know if that is a good thing....

That girls such a damn liar, prosecute her for lying under oath and for the court procedures done already, make her payback Kobe for his attorney fees and make her pay him for pain and suffering. Then maybe these money hungry attention needing lying Hoes will think twice about pulling this crap

I might add I'm very touchy on this subject because when I was 17 I had about a 30 year old neighbor move in next to me, she asked me to carry boxes into her house, when I was through she offered me alcohol and kept trying to put the move on me, she was acting strange so I left. Next thing I know she filed charges on me that I attempted to rape her but she was able to escape. In the middle of it she admitted she lied and made it up to get attention from her husband. Nothing happened to her for this lie. Pretty screwed up to do to somebody who just turned 17. I'm 26 and still very bitter about it to this day.

She never testified, so prosecuting her for lying under oath would be like prosecuting Santa Clause for molesting an elf who was working late one night in the shop. "Santa made me tickle him like he was a big Elmo doll." I can see it now....

Anyway, the point is she was never on the whitness stand to lie in the first place. Kobe could, if he was really strapped for cash, theoretically sue the accuser for pain and suffering, plus slander I suppose. I don't see him needed money though in the near future.

Thanks for sharing your experience. False accusations do occur, and it's a possibility that everyone should keep in mind.

Filling out papers and making false statements on police documents is a crime, you don't need to testify to commit the crime
