Say what u want, but this W goes to a pure great drive by Kolb after Skelton became totally discombobulated in the 2nd half and the gutsy physicality of the D. Paris Lennon came up big and this is the reason Mike Adams always sticks, he just makes plays.

agreed on all counts. It took a lot for me to give up on Kolb and commit to Skelton. But so much less for Kolb to earn my faith back. I feel like a damn Philly fan. Booing the same guy I'm cheering for 5 minutes apart

Kolb did not play the whole game but in his drive, he looked like a vet doing what one expects while the other two QBs in the game looked out of it in comparison

but his 1 drive was as impressive as any of Skelton's. And Skelton had what? 8 passing yards in the 2nd half with a pick? Kolb was sharp when he came in. And most impressive was that he actually stayed put in the pocket and completed the plays rather than rolling out right into a sack

Kolb played well in his drive, hopefully he is reformed guy.

Biggest game balls should go to the D and the much maligned O-Line.

Oline is still trash. Can't get any push in run game and were terrible in second half.. Kolb just covered it up by actually getting the ball out extremely fast

Our ST's gave them great field position twice. Bones and R Williams each turned it over in FG range. The D was fantastic today.

Acho had Okung peeing himself, would have liked to see a sack outta him however.

Gay played a great game. Beat once, ticky tacky interference call on him.

Lenon was a beast.

The Dline had several good moments. Come on DD, finish the tackles.

Kolb was VERY impressive. He earned his $7 mil signing bonus he received this off season.

I really wasn't impressed with the oline. In the first half we ran a ton of max protect and even had RB's and FB helping block. Second half they tried to play more straight up and got destroyed. Only reason Kolb survived is because he released the ball hella-fast, within 3 seconds.

to add to that, PP played very well in coverage. If the CB and WR are being physical, it's a no-call, these refs sucked. I wouldn't have him change a thing

Seattle has a great run D. And our RBs (especially Williams) were doing far too much dancing once they got the ball instead of just going forward. I think most people here expected to see our QBs sacked at least 4 times and under constant pressure. Instead we saw 1 sack and a lot of strong pockets.

If I had a concussion issue.. and a severe aversion to being hit.. I would probably watch a LOT more Kurt Warner video.

Who knows, maybe he did? Kolb made good, quick reads, and got the ball on target more times than not.
It's definitely his recipe for success.

no kidding. Whatever he did, if he can keep doing it, I'm good

While the run game sucked, Skelton wasn't making anything easy in the 2nd half either. It wasn't just the O-line. ST's alone on Washington's two returns almost single handedly gave this game away. The throw away by Skelton that was INT along the sideline was pretty bad also. Those three plays alone almost lost this game, not the OL.

Acho was held on one of the pass INT penalties towards the end. They missed some. But overall it was a passable job by the refs. Dockett was grabed there once on the final drive as well.

Like Warner covered up the shortcomings of previous O-lines.

To be fair: Seattle has a good "D" and was strong against the run last season.

They stacked the box, brought down a Safety numerous times and dared Skelton to force them out of it. He couldn't.

1 sack today. And Seattle loaded the box against the run. It wasn't the train wreck I was expecting. But still lots of room to improve.

Kolb had nothing to do with this win. He was just the beneficiary of an improved defense. :p

Only the defense was almost begging to give up the lead Kolb gave us at the end. Too bad Skelton couldn't score with all the opportunities the improved defense gave him. Kolb didn't benefit from any of that today. ;)

BS. Seattle's offense consisted almost exclusively of bogus PI calls and lucky catches.

No, the interference calls at the end were legit! The one on PP in the first quarter was bogus, imo though but that didn't affect the game. I didn't like the call for the TO obviously but they were just confused there. Overall the penalties offset one another. There were some close calls that also went AGA"INST Seattle.

1. The first PI call on Peterson was horrific

2. The PI calls all game were totally inconsistent - I don't think these refs can even properly call PI calls at this level

3. I'm not 100% sure of this, but after the double personal fouls I think that those should have been dead ball penalties that occurred after the game and the sack should have counted. Instead, they offset and replayed the down (Whiz tried to challenge it but they wouldn't let him). Oh, and Patrick Peterson clearly took a swing at someone late in the scuffle and should have been ejected but wasn't.

4. I'd bet if you watched the tape closely you'd see a lot more holding calls on the line, especially on our guys.

5. Larry took a helmet to helmet hit on a throw near the end zone -- not super important if he misses time with a concussion or anything.

6. The timeout situation (which the NFL admitted they were wrong on) and subsequent delay with 30 seconds left at a game was a disgrace to the game.

I'm not expecting perfection, especially with these guys, but this game was horrifically officiated.
