The last time the Dbacks were about to play the Dodgers in LA, I was having lunch in Scottsdale and Erik Hinske and his family sat right next to me. He was about to leave for the airport to fly to LA, where they would take on the Dodgers the next night.
Today, I'm having lunch at the Chipotle on the NW corner of Scottsdale and Camelback Roads, and who sits down right next to me?? Geraldo Parra and Martin Prado! They were both yuckin in up pretty good... And I was surprised by the size of Parra... Not that he is huge my any stretch, but he always appears to be one of the smaller guys on the field... and maybe he is. But in person, he is much bigger.

Anyway - hope we kick some LA butt once again!!!

TJ - funny you ask... As I mentioned, I saw Hinske the first time, and as I always do, I went over to him and thanked him for giving us such a terrific season.
Well, as you know, he went on to get suspended after the brawl in LA, and subsequently got sent down to Reno...

I figured I couldn't be that much of a mooosh, so I took my chances and went up to the table where Parra and Prado were sitting, and thanked them both for such an exciting season...
I've got my fingers crossed we don't see a replay of what happened to Hinske after I thanked him!!

Both Prado and Parra are extremely well-built dudes for sure Jon... Parra in particular really surprised me. He is very muscular. His thighs are almost abnormally large for a guy his size. Same for his forearms. He definitely looks like a bad-ass...
Prado is fairly well cut. No flab or fat on him for sure... He's slightly taller than Parra, but Geraldo just appears to be the stronger, more muscular guy.
