Games where he started and finished the game

This year: Washington 2 Int's and 2 fumbles
this is the only game where he started and finished the game

Last year:
Game One: 3 fumbles, No Int's
Game Two: 4 fumbles, 1 Int
Game Three: 1 fumble, 3 INT's
Game Four : 1 Int, 2 fumbles

BENCHED

Didn't start and finish a game after that...I don't think he finished the game in San Diego as I was there row 3. If so he had no INT's or fumbles that game.

Cards will NEVER WIN averaging 3.5 turnovers a game.

I don't care how good a qb you are when you are turning the ball over 3 times a game.

What don't you get?

I don't get how some can't recognize that Warner is absolutely the best option the Cards have right now.

Of course he turns it over too much, but he also had them close at the end of the game.

Care to try and convince me Rattay wins the game yesterday?

That's what his last option on the poll is for.

And what I voted.

Perhaps it's what you don't get. Qb's & their t.o.'s are often correlated to how good their team is. Brett Favre is going to the HOF & yet he has had 6 int games & a 6 fumble game. Put a good team around Favre & he'll still light it up, surround him w/ poor players & he will stink it up. Bulger has been among the league leaders in passing until this year where his team has been decimated by injuries.

One has to understand all facets of the game to make intelligent observations. How many t.o.'s does a great qb make when he has an average of 2.1 seconds to throw the ball like Warner has had over the last few years? In yesterday's game, on Warner's fumble, how many qb's would have held on to the ball after that hit. Guess what, Brady has had fumbles w/ like hits, so has Manning. Also, if the qb is throw to a spot on a given play, & the receiver doesn't get to that spot, who's fault is that?

And finally, ever had torn ligaments before? How many qb's play as well as Warner did yesterday w/ torn ligaments in their elbow? I've had torn ligaments & I know how difficult that must have been for him. I think he played miraculously under the circumstances. 99% of the qb's in this league would have sat out yesterday, & their team would have lost miserably. Here's to hoping your post is one of ignorance rather than stupidity.

You are comparing the Cards to Super Bowl winning teams. You are comparing Warner to some of the greatest QB's of all time. While he had his day, that is in the past. He is not the same QB he once was. I can't say how many others would have held onto that ball, but I do know that Kurt fumbles most of the times he is hit. He is our best option right now. Turning the ball over will not help you win games. That seems pretty obvious. Also, bringing up his torn ligaments is an excuse. He has guts, sure, but he did not help us win. That is the bottom line.

Warner gives us the best shot at winning this year.

If we have to go with one of the Tim's our season is pretty much shot.

That's it in a nut shell.

Yep and people who want Rattay need to be forced to watch his games before SF traded him and how he performed in the clutch. Games where he literally just dropped the ball to avoid getting sacked, or threw the ball up for grabs to avoid getting hit. Give him time and he can make throws, but
when the heat is on he folds up worse than Rackers ever has.

We have to go with Kurt while he can play, he's our best option and he's taking one for the team playing hurt right now.

our season was pretty much shot when Leinart went down. Kurt in the long run of any game, is going to hurt more than he helps. Will he hurt as much as the Tims? No. But it's like Harry said, "a little of Warner is a lot better than a lot of him."

Granted a recovered fumble is still generally and usually a negative play, but it is not a turnover.

I was just wondering where all the people went who said the Cards were going to be just fine once Rattay had a week to study the Cardinals playbook?

Please don't confuse all the Monday Morning quarterbacks with the facts and/or reality. Their memory does not extend to seven days and how pathetic the Cardinal attack was against a mediocre Carolina defense.

The bad thing is there are an extra seven days to count all the ways the outcome could have been different.

1. Anquan throws a half-way decent pass to Fitz for the two-point conversion. With the momentum the Cardinals had, I like their chances to win it in regulation or overtime.

2. The coaches get the play in on time, there is no delay-of-game penalty, and chances are the Cardinals run the ball.

3. Gandy doesn't get hurt and Warner doesn't get sacked and fumble on the critical play.

4. Neil Rackers makes the critical game-winning field goal.

5. D.D. doesn't get called for the roughing penalty.

6. The Cardinals don't miss the extra point at the end of the first half.

7. The officials correctly spot the ball on Jerheme Urban's onside kick recovery. He was at the 44 yard line, not the 41 when his forward progress was stopped. That three yards could have made the difference on the final field goal attempt.

There were plenty of great plays by the Cardinals, including Antrel Rolle's effort tackling Hoss Cartwright on the KO return. That resulted in NO points.

Sooner or later, the effort displayed Sunday is going to turn in the Cardinals' favor. I actually think the ship is turning around and the Cardinals are going to start winning these close games, instead of falling just short.

The coaching staff now has two full weeks to address some issues, analyze TB, and get this team set to go on a playoff run. I hope they put this tough loss behind them, give the players 3 or 4 days off, and get busy working on the second half of the season.

But do you know you know or think you know, and how would you know what you think you know if you don't know it?

Well?

Well if you don't know, and he don't know and he thinks he knows, how would I know what you don't know what he thinks he knows if you don't know it?

Well, if you assume that he knows what he thinks he knows, but doesn't know that you know what he knows, then you more than he thinks you know and you know what they say about the more you know.

I'm guessing here but I thought you can't advance a recovered onside kick?

Did Urban really lose 3 yards that's the first I've seen that mentioned so I don't know.
