Both had their issues but IMO neither ever were almost constant issues TO had. He was a douche. He stabbed McNabb in the back repeatedly towards the end & has never admitted to any faults of his own.

Yes he was a douche. Doesn't change the fact he should be in already. He was essentially Julio Jones when DB's were allowed to play physical.

You answered your own question though.

I know perception of the person he was isn't supposed to be a factor, but in reality it is. He has no other person to blame but himself, just like his tweets above. He's still a dick & must wait because of it.

IMO he was a wash. Great player but such a locker room cancer he didn't make teams better. Kurt played on a great Rams team and won a SB. They went in the toilet after he was gone. One playoff win with the same team but Kurt then 10+ years of suck. Then he took a 9 and 7 Cardinals team and was around 2:30 from another SB win. He made great teams champions and Ok to good teams great. TO didn't do that. Kurt over TO every time.

It's dumb he has to wait. Just like Kurt. You're either a HOF or not.

Funny that of all Kurt accomplished the one play of his I will always remember is the one he threw to the Steelers for a 100 yd pick six that cost us the super bowl. God I hate it when they show the greatest super bowl plays and that is the #1 on their lists. Kurt Warner and Cardinals in particular, on the opposite end of the greatest play in SB history. Isn't that just typical and sums up our Cards. Enough said!

Oh hell, makes me depressed to think that that is the closest we will ever come in my lifetime to winning it all.
How did that play cost us the Super Bowl? Sure it was a setback but we had the lead until under a minute to play. KW and Fitz put us in a position to win. the defense let us down, not KW.

Probably the argument the ******* voters used. Wonder if they voted for Lawrence Taylor and Ray Lewis.
Their on field accomplishments are enough to overcome those things, however, Lewis' actions were around a murder and that should carry more weight but I digress. It also doesn't hurt to have a Super Bowl championship and MVP(Lewis) under your belt either.

It's still all about "I love me some me" & why he's waiting
Calling the Hall of Fame a joke is one way to ensure you won't get in.

Let me tell you the difference between TO and Fitz. If TO gets in, he'll spend his entire speech patting himself on the back. When Fitz gets in(notice I said when and not if), he's going to spend his speech thanking the people around him.

Congrats to Kurt!

We were so fortunate to have him on our team and get to watch some of those talented throws only he could make. Great person out of the uniform also. Kurt will always be one of my favorite Cardinals.

You're comparing probably the least effective position on offense to the most effective position on offense. C'mon now.

I love Kurt, but T.O. should most definitely be in before him.

Marvin Harrison killed a man & Michael Irvin stabbed a teammate, but they're still in. Such a joke.

Rick Gosselin of the Dallas Morning Newswas in the room and passed along word that Owens’ candidacy was discussed for over 32 minutes. That was shorter than the amount of time devoted to former NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, both of whom were put up for consideration as contributors along with Seniors candidate Kenny Easley, Owens and the other 14 finalists.

-----

Hell we might see Hines Ward get in first. Voters are dumb.

If Davis gets in guys like Priest Holmes & Ahman Green should get some votes.
It's straight garbage. The dude is one of the best WRs in NFL history. They legit just don't like him. It has nothing to do with stats or productivity. It's just a bunch of a old, fat, stuffy guys who sit there and say "Back in my day, we didn't need to celebrate like that. He would have gotten his ass kicked every game. Blah blah blah." It's completely personal and they didn't like how he handled himself on and off the field. That's all it is.

He still played on teams. That's teams as in I think three that needed just one more peace and he destroyed the teams not helped them. Why did they all dump his butt?

Pass on TO. Kurt is the man period.

Lewis had his "issues"? He covered up a freaking murder at best, and may have been involved at worst. That makes him a horror show of a human being. But a douche is a big problem getting in? Sorry, that doesn't wash.

What does any of this have to do with Kurt? Start a who got the shaft thread.

Thank you Kurt. Our franchise now has the ring as the only prize.

Nobody is arguing against Kurt. You keep bringing him up in regards to TO. The HOF is simply a joke when it comes to receivers. They made Cris Carter keep waiting which was embarrassing.

Blame the lawyers & DA for not going forward. Obviously they didn't have the evidence which is why they plea bargained. The evidence TO was a dick is on tape.

Congrats Kurt, well played by joining NFLN and gaining elite supports. Great story but I thought it was a little early for induction. I think Bradshaw still has an edge in total turnovers, but one great play will make up for 2 bad plays. Our only Super Bowl baby - too bad we passed ourselves to death, after rushing through the playoffs.

Kurt got "dumped" by two teams. And TO CONSISTENTLY made big plays int he playoffs and played on good offenses in SF and Philly.

Kurt got dumped do to playing bad. Kurt as we all now had over the top great years and some stinkers. TO got dumped for being a cancer tearing teams apart even with his great play. No one dumped a healthy Kurt.

I'm just responding to the TO should be in over Kurt. IMO that's a joke.

Rock on Kurt you're the man.

As a Rams fan, I'm happy to see him go in. However, it's ridiculous that he's in and TO isn't. TO was one of the best receivers ever in the NFL. Plenty of players who were ***** are already in the hall, it shouldn't exclude TO because of his personality.
