That feels like a move in the wrong direction. Lowry is probably a little better than Bledsoe, but he's also four years older and doesn't really add a significant new dimension that Bledsoe doesn't already provide. I imagine if Bledsoe were in the East, he would be having success relatively similar to Lowry's success.

Makes sense. If Lowry is going out West it will have to be a sign and trade. So where is he an upgrade and for what? You have to think Toronto will want a PG back

I agree. Lowry is already 31.

Not arguing with trading for him, I was just surprised that they are not that comparable. I may be overstating what I think Bledsoe is.

San Antonio and Dallas make some sense...Maybe New Orleans for Holiday? It will be interesting to see if Toronto doubles down or decides to break things up. I think it's still most likely that Lowry stays, but you never know.

Sources have said the North Philly native has been interested in playing for the Sixers for some time. The speculation only heightened once Bryan Colangelo became the president of basketball operations in April 2016. As the Raptors general manager, Colangelo acquired Lowry in a trade from the Houston Rocketson July 11, 2012. The two have remained good friends since then.
And sources have always said that the Sixers planned to offer Lowry a lucrative contract this summer.
