I actually do like Chris Johnson I just think hes done....clearly seen him underperform Against 2nd and 3rd rate talent in the preseason showed all I really needed to see. Can't for the life of me figure out what everyone else is expecting and what they are basing it off of ??

I expect 200 carries or so at ~3.8 yards per carry and 6-8 td's.

I don't get what you saw with this statement. He had 13 attempts for 41 yards in three games. There in no analysis to your assertion that he stunk it up against 2nd and 3rd rate guys. He is not the same CJ as two years ago but he knows how to play the game, our system and he knows how to pass block. No other back on our roster has the same football intelligence that he has. We will see but I would like better analysis from you to support your opinion.

In the last preseason game he was thrown in there. That is what I saw. i don't think he expected it. Yes, he should have been more aware. The first play was the screen that he dropped and it was not a good pass, his fumble was while he was fighting for yards. I saw a nine yard run that he then fumbled while fighting and he had another good run. His pass blocking was very good. Watch the tape and tell me what you saw and not what you think.

No analysis??? So your 3.2 YPC isnt enough? Or his conolete lack of birst through the hole?? Or his 2 carelss fumbles??? The mere fact that the team cut him and kept Ellington and Kerwin Williams over him???

Yea nonreason at all for my analysis your soooo right... WOW

13 carries in three games for 3.2 is a non factor. DJ was 11 for 23...c'mon. ...careless(your opinion). Were Dj or Penny or Williams' fumbles careless? Why were CJ's careless? CJ has not been in a game, in which, he had a chance to "get going". Let's see what he does with 12-15 carries in ONE game...not 13 over 3. Yes Shane, no analysis on your part...just an opinion.

I will say one thing I hope you are right and I am wrong... But my hopes aren't too high..

He knows the offense and is surprisingly good at picking up rushers. However, the Cards cut him because he showed no burst to gain more than a few yards at a time. I wonder if CJ will demand a guaranteed contract to sign.

I heard on the radio it was because he had 'a sense of entitlement.' Thought he would automatically make the roster without putting in the work.

I think he's motivated now.

I read this after the Denver game when everyone said he should be cut .I thought he was safe and then he got cut. I wondered if this had something to do with it. Cards thought they were safe with DJ.
