Lakers Sign Johnathan Williams to Training Camp Roster

After completing his first NBA Summer League with the Los Angeles Lakers, Johnathan Williams seems to have impressed the Lakers staff by moving on to the next step in making an NBA roster. Williams finished the Las Vegas Summer League with 4.4 PPG and 4.6 RPG in 24.6 MPG. In the championship game of the Las Vegas Summer League against Zach Collins and the Portland Trailblazers, J3 finished with 4 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals in a 91-73 loss. It seems that was enough for Williams to grab a spot in the upcoming Lakers training camp which starts September 25th.
