I would support this, with Marte in CF. Unfortunately Adam Jones has fallen off a cliff, and Flores has been terrible.

It is obvious that Walker has earned the 1B job, especially considering that he will have a good shot at Rookie of the Year.
Especially since Christian, a right handed hitter, hits righty pitchers well.

Kudos to Torey for giving him the confidence of knowing that he is not going to lose his job if he goes hitless in a game.
He has shown himself to be a clutch hitter and deserves the vote of confidence.

All the rest of it means is that, in Torey's system of in's & out's for the rest of the players, Lamb will be part of that back at
3B rather than 1B, and will join Marte, Jones, Escobar, Flores and Vargas in the "mandatory days off" and matchups. As I've
said in previous posts, it is evident that Dyson is our best leadoff hitter vs. right handed pitchers.

Personally I think that Lamb should be given a shot in a corner outfield position. If he could be tried at 1B, he could be tried
in RF. Ideally, I would like to see Jake moved over the winter, because his stats are empty. He is never been a clutch hitter.
And his fielding is marginal no matter where he plays.

Good personnel move, Torey!
