I couldn't get it and finally gave up - they kept having technical difficulties, so you could hear the ads between innings but no game. You're right - their news blurb says they won 4-2 - all the other sites are actually getting the score from one place, sportsticker.com. Aha! - Modesto As website also says Lancaster won 4-2.

JetHawks Earn 4-2 Win Over A's In Series Opener
(Lancaster, CA) - Phil Avlas hit his first home run of the post-season to help
lift the JetHawks to a 4-2 win over the Modesto A's in the opening game of the
California League Championship Series played at John Thurmond Field in Modesto
on Thursday night. The win for the JetHawks was their franchise-high fourth
straight post season victory.
The home run by Avlas was also the 14th of the year for the JetHawks catcher.
Before this year, Avlas had only hit one career home run.
The JetHawks scored first when they tallied two in the top of the fourth inning.
With Dan Uggla and Jon Zeringue on base, Sean Luellwitz ripped a double into
the left field corner to plate the two runs.
With the score 2-1 in the seventh, Avlas took A's losing pitcher Matt Lynch over
the left field fence to give the JetHawks a two run lead again.
Enrique Gonzalez recorded his first post-season win, going 6 2/3 innings and
allowing only two runs on nine hits. Gonzalez also fanned nine and walked only
one in the win. Justin Wechsler pitched the final two innings to earn his third
save of the post-season and his 21st overall for the year.
Lancaster would add a run in the ninth. Avlas singled and then stole second
base. Danny Richar singled with two outs to drive home Avlas.
Zeringue had one hit in the game, and now has 10 hits in 19 at-bats in the
playoffs, and Doc Brooks had two more hits and has nine hits in his 22 trips to
the plate in the post season.
The Championship Series continues with game two on Friday night at John Thurmond
Field. AJ Shappi will take the mound for the JetHawks, while Brad Sullivan will
make the start for the A's in the 7:05 game.

Alas, Lancaster lost the fifth and final game in the championship series to the Modesto A's, team with the best record in all of the Minor Leagues - lost 4-3 when a ninth-inning rally fell short.

Some rumor says Mets will look at Wally Backman to replace Art Howe - rather see us promote him, personally.

The good news - under two weeks until AZ Fall League!
