What do you think?

IMHO - the Cards need to manage the cap a lot better and they CAN NOT afford to pay Larry $12 mill of the cap.

I'd offer him $2-4 mill on a one year deal and it's a take it or leave it deal.

To me while I love Larry and what he brings to the table...the team only has so much $ to spend and there are a lot of needs and the money could be spent better by building all around.

Yes , sell him on the idea of 100 catches in the new system. 8 Mil should do it. Maybe agree that if the team is under performing we will trade him or let him go to pursue a title somewhere.

We would be stupid not to pay him 10-12 mil per year for what he brings overall to the team. Yes, we can afford him. I don’t want to see him shopping around like we made Warner do.
Jerry it’s very possible #11 could have another 100 catch 1,200 yard season 8-10 TDs throwing the ball all over the field if the Oline is improved. If so, I’d easily pay him that to see him do that again

247 is the magic, number so if he can get 100 receptions in this offense he has to come back beyond next season right?

agreed, and I don’t think Keim or MB would even entertain the idea of negotiations with an HOF first class face of the franchise brought us out of the gutter into the spotlight player like Fitz. Is it really worth it to sign some schmo with the 4 million saved to show our organization is the SOC? Pay the man the same if he’ll take it

2 year 20 million deal...
That works too. Shows respect towards Fitz and all he has done for this organization, the NFL and the youth of America. We will never have another Larry. Goldy was a close second, but he was traded. Larry is a once in a lifetime player and role model.

I would hope he would take a small pay cut for more wins.

So I voted 10 mil

Larry is still productive as all get out when given a chance and you sure the hell do not insult him by telling him to stay and then take a pay cut when his performance in reality is still worth what he brings to the team. He is a freaking Hall of Famer who would excel in my opinion in what this new offense could offer. If you're going to tell him to take a pay cut with the cap we have... you might as well just say retire

Larry is the highest paid wide receiver of all time. He’s been compensated well. I’d offer 8 million and explain we have a lot of holes to fill. I think he’d do it because I think he likes winning and being productive.

No way he is coming back. We have seen the last of Larry Fitzgerald in the NFL.
