Fitzgerald and the producers of the commercial enlisted the help of Cardinals rookie quarterback Logan Thomas and former Cardinals quarterback Ryan Lindley, who was cut and signed by the Chargers a few weeks later. An Arena League quarterback was the stand-in for Brees.

Fitz was done in four hours, but the scrub quarterbacks filmed for seven hours. Those tv guys are wizards. The Cardinals spent a couple years trying to make Lindley look like a pro quarterback and couldn't get it done.
