Fox has given a series order to Will Forte’s high-concept comedy project Last Man on Earth.

In the show, Forte stars as … well … the last man on Earth.

The series is created by Forte (Nebraska, MacGruber, Saturday Night Live) and executive produced by Forte, Phil Lord and Chris Miller (The Lego Movie, 21 Jump Street), who will also direct the pilot.
