The main need on this team in tuffness & Talent inside.
We reportedly have 7.5 mill left to spend.
I have dropped the trade Marion idea.
The MAIN guy we need to bring back is DICE, he gave us alot inside when he was healthy. He complements Amare nicely with his nice jumper and good rebounding & shot blocking skills. He shouldnt be our full time center but he would be great comming off the bench for BOTH the 4 & 5 spot. If he can be had starting around 2.5-3.5 mill I would jump all over that.
The next guy I go after is a STARTING center. I think I might be going crazy, but I have allways thought Greg Ostertag was a solid guy. He will bang inside, grab boards, and he can block some shots. Not to mention he has very good size. If we could sign him with the remaining 4-5 mill I would seriously consider it.
If not Ostertag then Ethan Thomas or Foyle would be my second options...
With the guys we have now on the team, pluss Nash & add the inside tuffness with Tag & Dice, we should be a MUCH improved team.
