Hey guys,
I had planned on putting together a big post on the game, but since the game was televised, you all saw most everything. I'll skip almost all of my observations since you all saw most of it.![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
I sat in the South end zone, above the black hole, so I got to see a lot of the plays as they developed.
You already know that Warner made some bad decisions and most everything else, but from my angle, I could see Arrington was tentative early on. He had some holes, however small, but he waited too long to hit them. Shipp did not have this problem. I'm starting to agree with those that feel he should be starting. He can break tackles and runs very strong. JJ has not shown much of that.
The defense looked awesome for the most part. You saw what happened on the field, but during timeouts and after they hit the sideline after a huge play they were so pumped up. Jumping up and down, bumping chests, etc.
The other part you didn't see was the pregame warmups. The whole team was doing the same thing the D was doing during the game. It was obvious to me that this team is on the same page and very much together. Everyone was pumped to be there. I was really glad I got to the game as early as I did to see these guys together. I've been to lots of games in AZ early and never saw the same excitement I witnessed Friday.
