Following a sprained ankle in the Boston Celtics game against the Sacramento Kings, Jayson Tatum's availability for the crucial Wednesday match against the Phoenix Suns is now in question.

Tatum was fouled by the Kings' Domantas Sabonis, who received a flagrant foul 1 after Tatum's left foot landed on Sabonis's foot. This caused Tatum to sprain his ankle and fall to the floor in visible pain. Despite losing Tatum in the third quarter, the Celtics rallied to secure a 113-95 victory over the Kings. Tatum also finished the night with 25 points, seven rebounds and eight assists.

While Celtics head coach Joe Mazzula has expressed optimism that Tatum's injury is not severe, the exact timeline for his return remains uncertain.

Tatum is averaging 27.1 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 6 assists per game as the defending champions, the Celtics, prepare for their NBA title run.
