He's undersized, he's a marginal talent AND he tears an ACL. That just ain't right. Poor guy.

Steve

IMO, this will make it very difficult for him to come back to the NBA after this type injury because he relied upon his athletic skills to make up for his lack of height as demonstrated in the summer league. And, as you note, he was a marginal talent anyway.

Since last season the Suns subtracted two PFs in Amare and Amundson. Now add Lawal to the list. The Suns needed to add a PF to the team even before the Lawal injury.

jagu, i hereby pass to you the trophy for beating a dead horse, as I do with my proclamations about how -- as Steve Nash just put it -- "We have no real kind of Power Forward".

Thank you, Steve. And thank you, jagu. :) :deadhorse2: :)

Don't worry BC. He's a LOOOOOOONG way from taking that mantle from you. When he takes another 7 years talking about it, maybe then he could qualify. ;)

Yeah Chap, but now I called in the reinforcements -- Steve Nash's confirmation.

Tonight against the Knicks, the Suns actually started one Small Forward and four Guards. When the Knicks pulled Turiaf from the starting lineup, Gentry pulled Frye (who, of course, is not a Center to begin with).

James Naismith would be rolling over in his grave, peach basket and all. :)
