Seriously, LeBron James? Sadly for Los Angeles Lakers superstar James, his opinion that Daryl Morey “wasn't educated on the situation at hand” seems to be well off target. Morey, general manager of the Houston Rockets, has become notorious in China for tweeting support for Hong Kong's pro-democracy protesters. Yet China's overreaction is the real story here. More to the point: what it portends for CEOs around the globe trying to balance doing business in China with their social responsibilities in other markets.
