FWIW - I applaud those who had the balls to take a position and render a vote other than #4...

I choose #3. I thought Matt had a great career ahead of him, but now with this premadonna 'tude he is showing, I am not so sure.

It is gonna take alot of work for Matt to become a star QB.

This is silly. We're expecting too much out of him at this point in his career, IMO. I just hope Warner can stay healthy.

Two shoulder injuries in two years is not good. If you want to see what Matt's future could be like look no further than Chad Pennington.

What?
I'm going to bet that knowing Kurt is the man while he is out that Matt puts forward some huge study time.

He has nothing to look forward to other than trying to unseat Warner now and should put in the time.

Unfortunately, I picked choice 3. I was ecstatic that we drafted Matt and saw so much potential last year. I haven't given up yet, but the shoulder area seems to be a problem with him injury wise and I am worried that he is not going to pan out. I am hoping for the best.

Honest to God, I have no feel on this. The repeated shoulder injuries scare me.

It's not a shoulder injury. He broke his collar bone. And having done that myself twice snowboarding I can honestly tell you that it is a freak break. In 14 years of snowboarding I've been hurt twice and both times breaking my collarbone on falls that I had gotten up from hundreds of times.

If the MRI reveals no damage and it is just the broken collarbone, then this injury will have no impact on Matt at all other than the time it takes to heal. In some way it is better to break your collarbone, because when the bone fuses back together it forms a strong calcium deposit around the break/fracture, making it twice as strong as before.

It's actually 3 shoulder injuries if you count the sprained right shoulder in the preseason of his rookie year. The one on the left shoulder last year was a sprain.

Pennington had a full rotator cuff tear though so I don't think Matt is like him or Couch yet but you certainly don't like to see shoulder or elbow problems wtih a QB.

I want to say the collarbone is one of the most common bones to break
