DJ LeMahieu homered twice as the New York Yankees battered Chris Sale again and cruised to a 9-2 victory over the visiting Boston Red Sox on Saturday in the opener of a day-night doubleheader. LeMahieu hit his fourth career leadoff homer and then hit a three-run homer that gave the Yankees a 7-1 lead with two outs in the fourth. LeMahieu hit Sale's 2-1 changeup into the right-field seats after the Yankees took a 4-1 lead on an RBI single by Breyvic Valera and a two-run base hit by Brett Gardner.
