not dope people....i have and will continue to say all season, that i called that this will be his breakout year. maybe he's not the best run blocker, but ill take a bad blocking tight end with a running back who gets 120+ every day and twice on sundays.

You might have to share the glory with Jetsream Green.

We were supposed to meet up 2day but my alternator had other plans...ended up basically watching the game in seperate places on the cell phone.

Both of us were screaming our fool heads off when we recovered the fumble!

He did have a false start penalty but I think the TD effectively negated that one.;)

Oh I missed it .. Also he had that great block on the Edge 17Yd TD. He trapped his guy inside and pushed him into another Seahawk.

The Pope is a young kid and has IMO a great upside. The touchdown grab may be the beggining of a great friendship.

bienneman (not sure how to spell either) is ok...but he gets LOTS of penalties, and pope is a solid te imo. i may be biased though, cause when we drafted him i said "dude's a beast, huge red zone target, here comes some pro bowls"

Being a South Carolina fan I got to see that guy way too much. He was a beast at Georgia and I was glad to draft him.

This game ruined our chances for getting Darrien Mcfadden who rushed for 192 yds against an Alabama team that had 8 in the box and one guy assigned to him. Unfortunately he was not in for the last drive with a concussion and Ark losses on a FG with 8 seconds remaining. See you soon S.C.

I didn't focus on the blocking because I was at the game. I loved watching Pope sneak into the secondary though.

For what it's worth, Bieneman (sp?) had a great day blocking in the run game.

Yeah I thought he had the key block on Edge's TD run he just completely opened that whole right side.

The TD to Pope I thought was all Leinart, Pope was wide open because Matt first made a credible fake to the RB, and then looked off the safety so that when Pope released deep, there was no way the safety could get there.

Plus, Shipp did a hell of a job on that play I think 3 Seahawks were covering him so they either thought he had the ball on a handoff, or they all thought the ball was going to him.

That was a great play all around just perfectly setup.

That play had Whizenhunt's finger prints all over it. I love how he calls the games. Funny what an effective running game will do for an offense. The entire Seahawk defense was bent on stopping Shipp on that play.

According to the play by play, Pope was not one of the "penalty boys" These are the 7 guys I pulled out of the log:

Leinart (Delay of Game)
E Brown (Roughness)
E Green (Face Mask)
Bienemann (False Start)
Boldin (Offensive Holding)
Lutui (Offensive Holding)
Watson (Encroachment)

Whis said Shipp was the first option on that play, and Leinart did a good job of checking off him and getting the ball to Pope.
