If anything happens, I think it will right before the deadline (yeh, I'm really going out on limb here :D )

Seriously, I think that there are some deals that won't happen as long as some other deals remain a possibility. For examle, Googs for Clark can happen anytime and the Jazz are probably waiting for a better deal but will do it if nothing better comes up.

Well, there have already been a ton of blockbusters this year, much more than any other season in recent memories.

I wouldn't be surprsied to only see minor deals go down

The NBA trade deadline hits at 1 p.m. today. The Suns have been relatively absent from the rumor mill, other than hypotheses that Utah might want Tom Gugliotta or another team could go after Jahidi White.

Any move the Suns make would be for luxury-tax relief and/or salary-cap flexibility. It could involve one of the Suns' two first-round picks as incentive for another team to take on payroll. The Suns' $59.3 million payroll would be subject to the tax, which is expected to kick in at about $54 million.

"I really don't have anything to report," team President and General Manager Bryan Colangelo said Wednesday. "Just a lot of activity, and it's no different than any other year."

Ho-hum! :bigyawn:
