In this fantasy the league is expanding. You paid 2 billion dollars for a team. You are able to go through a couple of teams and literally pick the players you want to build your team. One of your assigned teams is the Cardinals. You can have whomever you want and as many players as you want. Don’t worry about getting enough players to make a whole team. Who do you pick? No; you can’t have a refund!

The only for sure things would be:
Larry
PP
David Johnson
Chandler Jones
Andy Lee

Probable picks: Budda Baker, DJ Hump, Golden (if healthy), Kirk

This is exactly what I was saying this offseason, this team is seriously talent deprived and people were outraged.

The truth hurts , and it appears it is actually worse than I feared.

I have now given up on nkemdiche, Reddick and I have lost a lot of confidence in D.J. humphries.

And yet we'd be whistling a different tune if we beat the Redskins and were competitive against the Rams yesterday.

I don't think our roster is full of world beaters but we have really good players at key positions.

David Johnson had 1 reception yesterday. 1 reception?!?!?!?!!? What the hell is McCoy doing??? He's certainly not scheming to the ability of our team. We need to get someone in both coordinator positions who can plan around the talent we currently have which isn't happening.

The issue is the coaching. Period. End of story. It's sad to see some of our vets wasting their last remaining years with this crap to be honest.

Yes, if we existed in a reality where the Cards were mediocre instead of godawful, this board would be different. Unfortunately we’re living in this the darkest timeline.

Also, Christian Kirk hasn’t shown anything in the NFL. Why would you pick him up?

If we are judging by statistics this year, David Johnson hasn't done much of anything either. Hard to tell whether or not Christian Kirk has talent that translates to the NFL but so far I haven't seen any red flags that would imply he doesn't.

Why should that be the assumption? I haven’t seen anything other than two failed punt returns that says he belongs among the top 75 receivers in the league.

There's not enough data to say whether Christian is bad or not. Moreover, I never said I'd pick him up. I think youre confusing me with someone else.

but we didn't and we weren't.... in fact, we were historically bad, historically... there is no gloom and doom that is not based in reality right now.... the Bears are going to maul us (as bears should) and then we should see no more posts like this ....

DJ has 6 carries, we should put the rookie in for the entire next drive instead

You aren't telling me anything I don't already know. You either didn't read my post or didn't do a successful job of comprehending it.

I don't think we are a good team but I don't think we are historically bad from a talent stand point. The ******** we've seen on the field is because of bad coaching.

Haha, made me imagine that one tiny outlier universe where Matt Leenart won that Bears game and we went on to dominate ala Patriots style to the point that people have become sick of us winning the Super Bowl.

Hahahaha, that one imagining might destroy the entire idea of alternate universes.... hahahaha.

Several of you were quick to ID my agenda. This team doesn’t have enough to compete. It you want to see this more clearly try this with a Cards’ roster from recent years even though those teams weren’t dominant. If you want to feel badly compare it with a top team like the Rams or Vikings. I’ll put something up about this tomorrow but if I’m Bidwill this is the end of the Keim era. It’s also troubling that when there still may have been time to at least improve the personnel, the GM was under suspension. This is a business!

During the game on Sunday, I was wondering who on the Cardinal's roster would actually get snaps on the Rams team.

David Johnson
Chandler Jones
Fitz?
Peterson
Seals-Jones? (Just kidding)

Probably Budda also, but yeah this is a pretty accurate list.

This Rams team is really really loaded.
