I agree with a lot of this. I also question KK's play calling because why the hell can't we run crossing routes? Why can't we do some of those simple, easy things to set our WRs up for YAC?
There are some play concepts I don't see much in Kliffs offense. Not a ton of mesh, which I love.

But we've seen some spectacular play designs too.

Ability-wise, he’s even better than I expected, and I expected a lot. Leadership-wise, he’s farrrrr below what I anticipated. It’s somewhere between Cam and Ryan Leaf. His youthful immaturity means he can still turn it around. I hope he does. The kid needs to take a long look in the mirror and work on who he is as a person.

This is my concern also. Think of all the talented QB’s with attitude issues like Jay Cutler, Jeff George, and Ryan Leaf when he was first coming out. Not a lot of successful QB’s with attitude problems other than of course Rodgers.

I hate to say it but I can’t see us winning a SB with Kyler. If he tries to exude leadership and kumbaya with his teammates now, I would think they’ll probably roll their eyes knowing it’s fake. Dude is 24. His behavior, unwillingness to put in time on film, and inability to hold himself accountable is not something I see him ever changing.

If I’m Mike B, I’m telling Keim to find a team willing to trade a MASSIVE haul of draft picks/players for KM.

KM is an immense talent, but he’s not going to just stop being an entitled, mopey, chicken-**** spoiled brat overnight.

Yep. It's not just one thing or the other. There's alot of mess that plays into our teams inconsistency.

Coming out of college I thought Ryan Leaf was a can't miss NFL quarterback.
I remember watching a pre draft interview/“marketing” piece with he and Payton Manning having lunch with a guy. That interview told me everything I needed to know about the leaf…. Funny- I was on a series of TDYs (“temporary duty” assignments for anyone non-military) in great falls mt (leafs home town) throughout late 97-98. I met his brother. The whole town was “rah rah Ryan leaf.”

What a doush nozzle he turned out to be.

After watching him play in college I thought he was a sure thing. I don't recall seeing the interviews.

What a disappointment.

RG3s point is basically:

Yes ,Murray started this by deleting his social media. Yes, Murray is young and he has room to grow/mature.

An upstanding organization builds him up in that situation not tears him down. He frames it as character assassination. He also highlights how stupid it is for upper management to devalue Murray when 25 other teams would want him.

He thinks the organization's reaction has only deepened the rift that started this and Murray shouldn't play for the Cardinals again.

All of that seems pretty spot on. By the organization leaking stuff, they have only hurt his trade value in a stupid attempt to shame him / get him to accept less money. It's ham fisted management and it has happened over and over with Keim.

Ehhhh….. Kyler is what he is and that stuff is going to come out regardless. Hardly the first time that type of stuff has been mentioned. Also did I miss something where the team came out and issued a team backed public statement saying these things about Kyler? Wasn’t the initial feeling was that it was leaked by another player? At first AJ Greens name was being tossed around.

How would a player know (especially a FA) that Kliff was going to self scout to help Murray with his issues.

This starts with KM and his lack of maturity, period. If he doesn't go with the "getting whiny and taking my social media ball home" mentality, NONE of this happens. Possible benefit of the doubt: perhaps his agent is to blame. If so, KM needs to make that clear and fire/distance himself from it.

This isn't to absolve the team, Keim, KK, or anyone in the organization of anything. There simply isn't an issue if KM doesn't create an issue.

Again, that isn't being disputed that Kyler started this. Why it was started is still unknown.

Beyond that, someone at Keim's level has done their best to win this through multiple leaks that just aren't productive on any level. Just like every other time it has happened.

Now that no one is disagreeing that Murray started this, can you all get over it and talk about future state. That's where the rest of the world is now.

What happens next. I don't see many outcomes that are good for the Cards.
