Let's be real. Gandy/Ross couldn't be THIS bad...

The scene where Vernon Davis walks away from his high five is hilarious, about the 5 minute mark

Did I just see a DB (#30) beat him on the inside? Mike Nolan's facial expressions are GOLD!

The no block by Oliver Ross against the Bears on the last play of the 3rd
quarter is worth about 10 of the bad plays by Harris. That single play changed
the fortunes of the Cards season. I hope Ross is better, but sometimes you
are what you are...bad!

If Calvin Pace is beating you with a bull rush you know you're bad. But :bhiich: . He started 16 games(i'm assuming) and that seems to be the criteria we used for signing Gandy.

That video was hilarious. The funny thing is that every team abused him,not just one guy or one team.

The amazing part of that is taht Frank Gore had such a great season. You would think that would have slowed some of the pass rush but they were just bull-dozing him the entire time.

I feel real bad for A. Smith. He ran for his life and got smacked around.

Ross and Gandy are going to be just that bad. I hope Matt can run fast.

I'm no fan of Ross, but both Wolfley and Green said that the backs missed their assignments on that play. Ross was not the culprit that time, as for once he was in position. If memory serves me correctly, that was Femi's assignment.

That play was discussed quite a bit on this board.

My favorite one was when the back was in the perfect position to pick up the rusher and Harris knocks the back down and then misses the guy himself. Not only does he miss blocks, he keeps others from making their blocks too.

That was sooooo ugly. We should trade a 1st and a 3rd for this guy. He fits perfectly into the scheme we have been using lately. I didn't event know BIG had a brother.

If you put a redbird on the side of the helmet, alot of those plays look vaguely familiar....

To be fair, as the scene is fading you see VD turn his head and start to high five him...he didn't see him at first.

I have to defend the guy because damn if that isn't one of the most brutal "highlight" packages I've ever seen. My stomach hurt for that guys level of sucktitude.

the one where Chike goes by him at like 8:30 in the video is fantastic. I don't think he even got out of his stance

I usually revel in our opponents sucking but about halfway through I just felt bad for him.

Look at the play, again, if you can. The scheme evidently called for Ross to block inside, and the back to chip the DE. Bad line call, but not simply on Ross.

Me too. It was weird...I should have been laughing but I was instead thinking "damn, poor guy...poor, poor effing guy."
