I say we boo him and every new sun at the first home game they have. It's the only thing that makes sense or to just boycott this team for the rest of the year. This is just frustrating. Who would have thought that the best franchise in the valley would be the coyotes. At least they tell you what they are doing and try to win young. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH this is the worst trade ever

I dont think we got much for a valuable PG in Marbury, but I dont think it is the WORST trade ever.

We get alot of flexability and two first round draft pick pluss alot of players we can mix and match to trade for other guys that might fit this team.

The suns have a good eye for talent. They draft very well (Zarko & Barbosa very late in the draft) Amare, Marion, Nash, Finley...

They seem to hit everytime they have a draft pick

They added solid roleplayers like Harvey(who was practically free).

I dont think they plan on keeping these players they are getting in return in this trade. So be patient to see what we end up with.

This trade has nothing to do with Antonio McDyess. It has everything to do with his expiring contract. I've thought for a long time that it was a huge blow to the franchise with Antonio McDyess left for the Denver Nuggets. However now it looks like it would not have made much difference because he has been as injured and damaged as Tom Gugliotta.

Not really. McNugget has looked pretty good in his return. Put up 14 and 11 last night on "sore knees".

I bet McNugget resigns with the Suns for cheap in the off season.

Maybe we should say 3 years 3 million sign it or we'll lock you outside the arena every game for the fans to tear you to pieces.

We'll even put up huge copies of what the papers said after you burned us all over the walls to make sure everyone remembers.

Of course right after we accidently misspell his name as McDouche and sitck a tampon on his back.

I nearly spit out my drink laughing at this...then, I realized that is (probably) exactly what he'll do.

I wish I could be there booing him in person. If any of you get the chance, boo him a little extra for me, would ya? ;)

Maybe the C's traded back for him just for the pleasure of deciding not to resign him rather than the other way around. I am shallow enough for that. Maybe they are too.

Have the Suns lost any key players to free agency other than Dice? I find this venom to be pretty silly.

Maybe I'm in a minority, but I hope Dice plays well. I enjoyed his play when he was here and was sorry that he got conned into signing with Denvey. I blame the Colangelos for not pushing to get him signed earlier.

I'm not sure what else the Cs could have done, short of hiring a limo and kidnapping McDyess until he agreed to sign, or bribing his agent.

When the Suns have a shot at the brass ring, and some guy blows it because of his stupidity, then that guy is going to be on my @#$% list. McDyess certainly hasn't done anything to get off that list, has he?

I mean, if McDyess had benefited in any way from signing with Denver, then I would be willing to accept that. But that obviously wasn't going to be the case, and sure enough, he had a miserable time there, trying to carry a lousy team and organization for less money than he would have gotten for being a fan favorite on a winning team in a city that was/is a FA magnet. After the Nuggets dumped him (a second time!) to 'rebuild' he was even worse off.

I'm certainly not going to blame the Cs for failing to take into account the fact that McDyess is so dumb that he would be willing to sign elsewhere for no reason at all...

If it makes you feel better, I also harbor resentment in my heart against Oliver Miller for getting fat.

Wasn't it Tony Dutt that prevented Kidd, Rex and McCloud to see Dice at the Arena during that hockey game? There were rumors that if Kidd had actually spoken to Dice that night, he would have signed with us. Unfortunately, Dutt and of course Nick Van Exel would have none of that, and they prevented them to see him.

About not pushing to sign him sooner

McDouche was only traded for halfway through the season.

Then after the season he went to Denver

But before that happened...we flew out J.kidd and others to Denver to try to convince him to come back....FOR MORE MONEY AND ON A BETTER TEAM

C'mon

Half a season...if that...and more money...and the fact the suns tried harder than 99% of teams in any professional sports league....yet you say it's their fault.

Respectfully, I have some florida swamp land for sale...

I thought I heard, they told Douchebag we were here, but didn't come and see us. Not because he wasn't told!!!!

Probably because the head staff was with him, and he didn't have the backbone.

What a wuzz.

Hey McDouche I have a tampon for you...its got an Orange applicator and purple absorbent

YOu think this league is run by the players?

It's not. It is run by the agents. Anyone who thinks otherwise is naive.

If an agent says to a young kid, "Hey, you play here, you may not have a great team at first, but you'll be much richer than if you go over to that team," that kid is going to listen. The perfect example of how money and agents are destroying the NBA.

Personally I used to hate McDyess, but I have come to realize a few things. He was a young kid and did what he thought was right, he had no idea of the ramifications his actions were causing. I have done some dumb **** in my life and luckily I have learned from most of those mistakes

Fresh slate, new beginning

Funny how you talk all that crap. I wonder what you'd do if you and McDyess were cornered in an alley.

You remind me of that guy in the Michael Strahan commercial. You'd probably squeal like a pig and run like mad.

I agree. If he can contribute, then I will cheer him.

I'm not sure who you are responding to....

But respectfully the argument although true in MOST situations...didn't apply to ours and McDouche

We offered him, if memory serves correct about 15-20 million more....to be on a better team...with a better track record.

Any agent that says take 15 million less and I don't care about my ~5% of that 15 million to be on a worse team is ONE STUPID AGENT.

That's just my opinion.

I vaguely remember hearing that there was some kind of conflict between Dice and Ainge. Does anyone remember anything about that?

apparently Ainge created some rifts here with some players and has already started on the wrong foot with the Celtics players (see Antoine Walker)

mcdyess's agent was also NVE's agent. he hoped that by getting mcdyess back to the nuggets that the nuggets would pay the big bucks to NVE.

i hope that mcdyess can come in and do well on the team. a frontline of amare, mcdyess and marion should give other teams nightmares.
