Lightning's Cooper vs. Stars' Bowness is NHL coaching first

Two nights after the Dallas Stars advanced to the Stanley Cup Final, their coaching staff was seated at a table for dinner in the NHL bubble right next to their counterparts from the Tampa Bay Lightning. Lightning coach Jon Cooper got to chat with former assistant Rick Bowness, who has the Stars in the final after taking over the head job on an interim basis in December. ''It was good to see him, and I congratulated him,'' Cooper said.
