The Lions will be getting star defensive end Aidan Hutchinson back after his Week 6 injury. And while the team has added pieces to build depth, they can still use an impact pass-rusher to go along with Hutchinson. Could that player come via the draft?

He does, at least in the latest mock draft from NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah. With the 28th pick, the Lions go with Mykel Williams, defensive end, Georgia.

"Williams is another player with a wide range of potential destinations. The production has trailed the athleticism, but there’s a ton of upside here," wrote Jeremiah.

Williams recorded five sacks last season for the Bulldogs, two coming in the SEC Championship Game against Texas. That was a career-high for Williams, after back-to-back seasons with 4.5 sacks. He may not be the top-ten projection he once was, but there is still plenty of potential here with Williams, very much worthy of the 28th pick.

With Hutchinson on the other side, Williams would be given an opportunity to thrive under new defensive coordinator Kelvin Sheppard. And if there's any head coach that is going to get the best out of his players, it's Dan Campbell.
