Oakland for a 4th round pick ... wow ..
Did Oakland get a deal or does this say something about Josh and Williams ... ???
Was it for OUR fourth round pick?
The irony would be outstanding.

Moss, Porter and Williams. My Lord how do you coach that..........
They are trying to live up to the Mantra of the Raiders.
With that WR corps, that'll be a real challenge.I think the Raiders are actually having a great draft. Should be really competitive if can put it all together
And he'll be replacing Andrew Walter. Does that mean Walter is worth 1/4 of a 4th rounder?Man, how bad do you have to be to 1 of 2 guys traded for a single 4th round pick? McCown's worth 1/2 a fourth round pick!
I have a feeling that Russell is going to be starting from day one. The Raiders, imo, just had the best 2 days in the offseason. They had an excellent draft( I hope they cut Micheal Bush) and a couple of solid free agent signings.
Josh might be faster. What's sad is you could actually debate which one is the tougher receiver.

When the Detroit Lions moved Josh McCown and Mike Williams to the Raiders for a fourth-round pick, they were left with some salary cap management issues to clean up. McCown was scheduled to make $2 million in salary, so that amount goes as a credit to the Lions books. Mike Williams on the other hand was scheduled to make just $600,000 -- which is great for the Raiders and a modest credit to the Lions' cap. The problem is Williams' rookie signing bonus, which still had $4.14 million to be charged to the salary cap and must be subtracted from the cap. So the net of moving the two players is a $1.54 million salary cap charge to Detroit. It hurts when top draft choices don't work out.
I believe it was the 4th round pick we traded to the Raiders that they used for the trade.
I makes me sick when I have to hear about Josh McCown on sports radio, and how they think he can start in the NFL.
I could read a book in the dark faster than Josh reads defenses.
How good is Russell anyway? I don't know much about him but would think that he was quite a reach with the #1 overall considering we got Leinart at #10. But then in this year's draft #1 would = #15 last year I would guess.
