Francisco Liriano pitched seven strong innings, Justin Morneau hit a three-run home run and the Minnesota Twins beat the St. Louis Cardinals 6-2 on Sunday. Joe Mauer singled his first two at bats for the Twins to hike his average to .400 before a double-play ball, a groundout and a strikeout dropped him to .394.
