Changing my sig line now...

Seriously though, let's give the job to someone who is more than a glorified cheerleader next time. Other than being all "rah rah" about ASU and driving their new marketing campaign of "Fear the Fork", what has she really accomplished?

Great news, though promoting Steve Patterson doesn't exactly set my nerves at ease. He did a pretty lousy job while with the Blazers and I know isn't well respected in Portland.

I would've liked to have seen ASU approach Mike Haynes with the job, but hey at least LL is gone.

This is almost the best news of the day.

The best news of the day was when I checked into my flight to New Orleans for the final four this morning.

It needed to be done. She had become toxic. I was hoping for a bigger change than just promoting Patterson, but it's still a good move.

I don't know if she was the cause of all the problems but she was defenitely not part of the solution.

This was inevitable, but it was 3 years too late. Not sold on Patterson, although he did put emphasis on improving the basketball/football programs, so we'll see how that goes. Nevertheless, great news for ASU, things can only get better from here.

sadly, Russ will never leave unless some insane owner offers him a HC job or whiz is fired which I want by no means.

The local commentators on sports talk radio kept stressing that ASU will be severely limited financially going forward. I believe they were referring to comments that may have been made by ASU President Michael Crow. I don't the source for sure or when they were made. Anyway, I can't see how ASU got to the point they are severely limited with the emphasis on severe especially with new television revenues. I know ASU needs more support from boosters but still... severely??
