If they should fall to us post R1.

Round 2 or 3 possibilities to fill our void at DE/Edge, if we miss on Anderson. There are a lot to choose from in the first 3 or so rounds.

Place in desired order. Cross out if you wouldn't draft no matter what.

Nolan Smith
Isaiah Land
Lukas Van Ness
B.J. Ojulari
Adetomiwa Adebawore
Felix Anudike-Uzomah
Isaiah Foskey
Will McDonald IV
Tuli Tuipulotu
Zach Harrison
Keion White
Derick Hall
Andre Carter II

Lukas Van Ness - Round 1 for sure
Nolan Smith - Round 1 for sure

Round 2 guys - A lot of these guys you would struggle to slide a piece of paper between. Really depends on scheme and what teams are looking for. I've tried to put them in some kind of personal preference but it might change depending on the day. All are good players.

Will McDonald IV
Felix Anudike-Uzomah
B.J. Ojulari
Isaiah Foskey
Zach Harrison
Derick Hall

Round 3 guys

Tuli Tuipulotu
Keion White
Andre Carter II

Other

Adetomiwa Adebawore - Will play inside and likely go late round 1
Isaiah Land - Not draftable

I like Tuli Tuipulotu probably more than most as a 4-3 DE.

I struggle with the Nolan Smith but feel you can play him off-ball in base and then off the edge in sub.

Probably something like this...

Van Ness
Tuipulotu
Anudike-Uzomah
Ojulari
Smith
Hall
McDonald
Foskey

I don't really view Adebawore and White as "EDGE" guys. If you want a small 3T, I think they could be special.

Cam Thomas reminded folks of Zach Allen & now Van Ness reminds folks of Watt lol I know there’s non-white players that y’all can compare prospects to

Give me Ojulari, McDonald, & Nolan over him easily.
All three of those are riskier IMO. I know I can get a good rush defender and decent pass rusher in Van Ness. His production in limited snaps in college was as good any in the four. Nolan Smith, great measurables but questionable fit and the least productive of the four. McDonald is rail thin. Ojulari is nice but again, his frame potentially limits him.

Here is one for Van Ness. Marcellus Wiley. Both 6'5+ with 34"+ arm length. Broad jump is similar. 40 time a bit different but also different training now. Fit better at DE and win with power and length. Neither great turning the corner but size/speed beasts on the outside.

Thanks guys for your opinions. Trying to get some agreement on if there will be anyone special for us to grab after R1. Suppose Van Ness is out of the question, maybe same for Foskey. That leaves us with Harrisson, Hall, White? Who really stands out, anyone at all?
