Well, this movie is indeed a strange film, at once funny, but also serious and sort of depressing.

But it's excellently made and the performances were dynamite. Kate Winslet was awesome in it.

The narration was also a very nice touch...

It's somewhat creepy because it deals with adultery and also a pedophile, which is sort of strange to watch, especially the community pool scene.

It's just a great look at how we make decisions, and how we can act like children, but also learn from that.

She is waaaaay overdue for an Oscar. One of the best actresses working today.

I really want to see this movie, but haven't gotten around to it.

I recently watched this one. Great movie.

The acting was outstanding. Jackie Earle Haley was perfect for that role, he really gave me the creeps. I was shocked to see him, I hadn't seen him in anything since Breaking Away.
