Live from Baghdad

Has anyone seen this movie? I believe it was a direct-to-dvd release and done by HBO.

Anyways, it's the story of how CNN became a major player in world news by being the ONLY station to have live reporting from Baghdad when the Gulf War started.

It has Michael Keaton, Helena Bonham Carter and a solid supporting cast.

It's a pretty cool movie, and while it's one of those smaller budget types, it was still very interesting.

I remember this film being played on HBO constantly 10 years ago, but I never got around to watching it. Interesting to see how CNN launched itself ahead of the networks in the news business. Keaton was fantastic and made me feel like I right there in the mess.

not quite straight to dvd since it was on hbo for a while, but yeah, good movie.
