Kyle Lohse gave the Phillies something they've sorely lacked down the stretch. Lohse pitched seven strong innings, and Philadelphia improved its playoff hopes with a 5-2 victory over the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday night. Lohse (9-12) allowed two runs and six hits, striking out five and becoming the first Phillies starter to go seven innings since Jamie Moyer on Sept.
